Pakistan have scored 30 runs for the loss of one wicket against New Zealand at the end of the second day's play in the first innings of the Mount Manganui Test. 

At the end of the second day, opener Abid Ali was on 19 and night watchman Muhammad Abbas was on zero while opener Shaun Masood was out for 10.

New Zealand were bowled out for 431 in the first innings

Earlier, in the third session of the game, the entire New Zealand team was bowled out for 431 in the first innings, with captain Ken Williamson scoring a magnificent 129 runs.

On the second day of the Pakistan New Zealand Test, Kane Williamson and Henry Knuckles started the innings with 222 runs for the loss of three wickets, both of whom managed to take the score to 266 runs.

The Knuckles, meanwhile, completed their half-century, while Williamson's century was also the 23rd century of the Kiwi captain's career.


Both the players added 133 runs for the fourth wicket. Nickels was caught by Naseem Shah while William Sun's wicket of 129 runs was taken by Yasir Shah.


The centurion was dismissed by Faheem Ashraf for 19. Watling and Jameson shared a brilliant 66-run stand for the seventh wicket. Watling also managed to score a half-century, while Jamie Sun was bowled by Muhammad Abbas for an individual score of 32. He was run out.


For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi took the most 4 wickets.
