The name of the new chief selector of the Pakistan cricket
team has come to light. According to details, a new chief selector has been
selected after Misbah-ul-Haq resigned as the chief selector of Pakistan cricket
team.
According to sources, none of the names that have come
forward so far for the post of chief selector have been handed over.
The PCB has taken a final decision to appoint Muhammad
Wasim, a former cricketer and coach of the Northern team in domestic cricket,
as the chief selector. His appointment will be formally announced soon. It
should be noted that after the resignation of the national team head coach
Misbah-ul-Haq, Mohammad Akram and Mohammad Yousuf emerged as strong candidates.
Mohammad Akram is currently with Peshawar Zalmai while Mohammad Yousuf is
working as a batting coach at the High Performance Center.
