Maulana Fazlu Rehman, the central Aamir of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, also the president of the opposition Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is  In hindsight, Tuesday dominated his four decades of politics.

The first blow came to him when Maulana Sherani announced the separation of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan from JUI-F and the second political shock came when a majority of the participants in the PPP CEC meeting opposed the resignations from the assembly. 

Maulana Fazlur Rehman has been a member of the National Assembly five times. During this time, he not only played an important role in the politics of the country but also carried out many political battles, including his visit to India.

Where his meeting with the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his conversation with the Indian media was seen in a broader context regarding the relations between Islamabad and Delhi.

But in the past on Tuesday, his "special trustees" not only broke away from him at a meeting chaired by Maulana Sherani, but also turned away from him in a rebellious and aggressive tone during the meeting.
