Indian team take 82-run lead over Australia in the second Test match played at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). India finished the second day with 277 runs at the loss of five wickets in their first innings.

In this match, Ajinkya Rahane, captaining India team, is playing an unbeaten 104 not out. Ravindra Jadeja is unbeaten 40 runs with him. These two batsman shared a 104-run partnership for the sixth wicket.

Rahane hit 12 fours facing 200 balls. At the same time, Jadeja played 104 balls so far and hit a four.

Australian team out on 195 run in first innings. The Indian cricket team start day with 36 runs with loss of one wicket.  Mishe Stark and Pat Cummins have taken two wickets each for Australia. Nathan Lyon has a breakthrough.
